5 Days Hanoi - Halong Bay - Ninh Binh

Enjoy a scenic drive through the rural landscapes of northern Vietnam followed by a Halong Bay cruise.
This full-day tour, round-trip from Hanoi, . Head for the island of Tuan Chau and Ha Long city, where you will board a cruise boat at 12:30.
Get a safety briefing at the start of your cruise. Then, set off to explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site of astonishing beauty. 
Marvel at the limestone karst rock formations as you travel through uninhabited islets, and see outcrops that have been given imaginative names by the locals, such as "Cock Fighting," "Incense Burner" and "Thumb" (to name a few).
Enjoy a mouth-watering Vietnamese lunch on board the boat, and then journey to the Bo Hon archipelago (14:00), where you can choose to kayak around the area or relax on the boat. 
Then, go to the island of Titov to discover a sandy beach adjacent to a towering limestone mountain, where you can climb to the summit for panoramic views.
Return to the boat and set sail for Tuan Chau Harbor at 16:00. Enjoy some free time to sunbathe on the upper deck of the boat with music and meet fellow travelers from around the world. Later, board the bus for the journey back to Hanoi. Walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, and Enjoy water puppet show. Dinner at local restaurant and Overnight in Hanoi.
 

Breakfast a hotel. 8.00-8.30 am: Tour guide & driver will pick you up to depart to Ninh Binh city
10.30 - 11.00 am: You will reach Hoa Lu Ancient Capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le and Ly Dynasty.
The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history.
12:00 pm: Have buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice…. Vegetarian foods is always available in the buffet lunch. Continue the tour with 45 mins - cycling around the village to discover the life of local people.
13h30: Visit Tam Coc by 1.5 hours by bamboo boat. During the boat trip, you will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy field, river, water, cloud,sky and stunning cave system. All make a masterpiece which Vietnamese people called “ Halong Bay on land”
4:00 pm Leave Tam Coc and drive back to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at around 6:30pm. Overnight in Hanoi.
 

8.00 – 8.30: Get pick up at your hotel (at area of Hanoi Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake) to start for Hanoi city tour.
08:45 – visit Tran Quoc Pagoda – is located on the east of the West Lake, built from the reign of King Ly Nam De.
09:30 visit Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh and the nation’s founder and resume visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the colonial Presidential Palace, originally the French Governor Office, the rural style Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and Presidential Palace where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked. Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons,- the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century.

11:15 – visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology – The museum has become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign visitors due to the simple exhibits which displays both the aspects of tangible and intangible culture, lifestyle and creativity of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
(Vietnamese Woman Museum will be the alternative on Monday hence Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is closed)
12:30 –  Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.
13:45 – visit Temple of Literature is the first university in Vietnam, built in 1070. Today, Temple of literature has become a popular destination of Travel Hanoi, the place of awarding merit to students who have excellent study achievement.
15:30 visit Hoa Lo prison – French colonists built the prison in 1896 to detain those who fought against the French colonial regime, which was called the Maison Centrale. Free at you leisure. Dinner and Overnight in Hanoi.
