TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

Experience authentic local encounters at Pu Bin Spice Hills, a community based tourism project firstly developed in 2014 by two sisters. Diep and Nina. Enjoy beautiful natural landscape with trekking to rice paddy fields, take part in farming activities, cooking demonstration, visit local family of shaman and learn about local culture. You will have chance to visit local school which is mostly sponsored by Pu Bin Spice Hills and take time to play with kids, teaching English or even take part in volunteer activities there.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: HANOI – PU BIN

From your chosen hotel in Hanoi to Pu Bin (145km): approx. 4hrs Easy walking (3 – 6 km) depend on clients’ wish

Located 145 km from Hanoi; Pu Bin is home to some of the poorest villages in Hoa Binh province and also a new destination to connect the traveler, who loves nature and authentic life with the rural countryside. This morning, at 08:00 enjoy a 4 hour leisure drive to Pu Bin and leave the commercial city behind. On the way, pass through mountainous landscapes and enjoy the spectacular scenery with verdant hills and small forests as they play hide-and-seek with the sun in the misty morning light.

Arrive at Pu Bin at noon and enjoy lunch after being greeted by friendly hosts, an ethnic Thai family. In the early afternoon stroll around and admire the deep roots of the ethnic Muong culture through vibrant local encounters Return to Pu Bin Spice Hill for relaxing with the food traditional herb massage/bath from the Thái Minority.

Rooms at hotels are available only from 1400 on arrival day till 1200 on departure date. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out is desired.
